Summer Spirit II is a 22.86m motor yacht built by McConnell Brothers in 1979 in Brisbane, Australia, with refits in 1998, 2007, extensive refit from 2011 to 2014 and again in 2021-22. It has been well maintained and has had constant maintenance.
With interior styling by Pacific Green and Furniture Inspirations (Fiji), it features Fiji local timbers (mahogany, coconut, and raintree parquetry). Exterior design by R James - naval architect, Australia.
Interior design by the owners reflects the Pacific, with artwork from recognised local artisans, with antiques and shell collections from various Pacific nations.
It can accommodate 12 guests; two in the full width Owner’s Queen Size Stateroom (with toilet, en-suite, spa bath and 2x single wash basins), a VIP D’ble bed suite, with baby bunk, wash basin, shower, and toilet, 2 double bed rooms with additional single bunks in each room; 1 twin single cabin and a four single berths in the bow which are used as crew quarters., when at sea. It also has the capacity for 2 convertible double berths and a 2 single berths on the top deck.
Whilst currently registered for a total of 16 passengers (12 guests and 4 crew) it has sleeping accommodation for 22 passengers, in various arrangements and has a total of 4 toilets and four showers, including one on the swim deck. Hot and cold water is provided through on demand pumping systems.
When registered in Australia as a Class 2 Commercial Vessel and had a Day Compliment of 50 passengers.
MV Summer Spirit II was imported into Fiji in 2007 and all related duties and taxes were paid. The vessel was used commercially and had Coastal and Open trading licences until 2015.
The vessel was transferred to the current owners in 2011 and has since been used as a pleasure vessel. It is currently registered in Langkawi, Malaysia a tax/duty free Island established to enable overseas owners to register their vessels.

The vessels hull is of steel construction with raked bow, transom stern and single chine. Bilge keels are fitted below the port and starboard sides below the waterline.
Frames 40mm x 40mm x 8mm angle at 400mm centres, with stringers 100mm x 8mm at 400mm centres and there are 4 x watertight Bulkheads.
The vessel has a steel and aluminium superstructure with capacity for additional helm Station and has large Main and Top deck areas for guest entertainment.
MV Summer Spirit has 10 person dinning capacity in Main Salon and 12 person dinning capacity on the Top Deck.
Powered by twin Rolls Royce/Perkins diesel, she has a cruising speed of 8 knots and a top speed of 10 knots.
